The birds represent flight from oppression and new beginnings. Each piece is handcrafted and painted with floral and calligraphic motifs, promoting the rich legacy of Persian decorative design, while infusing elements of western artistic style.
Please note that both the birds are sold individually.
Iranian artist Kevyan Fehri recently emigrated to Canada and works closely with the Museum Collection to create pieces that are worth of conversation and are representative of his Iranian heritage.
