When Michael first started out, he used to hand-apply gold and platinum crackle finishes to his wares. They were beautiful, but very inconsistent; sometimes the crackle was HUGE and sometimes it was tiny. The new Amalfi collection is reminiscent of my original collection, and is inspired from the sun reflecting off of the  beautiful blues and whites from his time spent on the coast in Italy.
