A favourite among our patrons, this particular design is captured from a beautiful manuscript in the Aga Khan Museum Permanent Collection. In the manuscript, an old woman complains to the Seljuk ruler about the unjust behaviour of his representatives. She then advises him on true manners of kingship. This painting is from Nizami's Khamseh, a collection of narrative poems. This case is a perfect accessory on its own or with the matching tote!
