From his 1850s stone house and former stable in Dundas, Ontario, artist Scott Barnim creates pottery inspired by the Permanent Collection in the Galleries of the Aga Khan Museum. This exquisite, one-of a-kind ceramic bowl is based on Islamic lusterware. Its glazed pottery with intricate hand-painted patterns has a luminous metallic sheen.
