Floral Tibetan bead pendant
This jewelry collection was exclusively created for the Aga Khan Museum by Toronto-based artist, Farheen Ali. Inspired by manuscripts and painting from the Aga Khan Museum collection, this jewelry captures the essence of these illuminations by utilizing many of the same stones that were ground to create pigments for these works. The collection features traditional materials such as lapis lazuli and cinnabar whilst mixing them with modern setting of agates, metals and recycled materials.
